You can either use the hand held digital recorder such as the ones made by Olympus, Sony or dictate using our Toll free phone dictation system at an additional cost.

How do I submit my dictations using handheld digital recorder?

You can submit dictations either by FTP, email or through our web based file transfer platform which is available free to clients of Mukesh BPO.

How is my dictation processed?

When you sign up, you are assigned to a transcription group based on your specialty and your estimated dictation load. When you submit a dictation into our system, your assigned transcription group will automatically receive your dictation for transcription. This group consists of a transcriptionist with a quality assurance supervisor and English language specialists with several years of medical transcription experience. All documents are proof read and edited to create an accurate document

How do I receive my transcriptions and in what formats?

The transcribed documents are delivered via e-mail or secure FTP server (which will be provided by us upon sign up). You can then view/edit and print your transcriptions after downloading them to your computer. The transcriptions are then ready to be used according to your preference. We deliver transcribed documents in MS Word, Word Perfect or Text formats.

What turnaround times do you offer?

Our normal rates are for 24hrs turn around time. You can also select turnaround times to meet your needs, i.e. 48hrs, 36hrs or 4 hrs (STAT files) at additional cost.

Can I send my templates for Mukesh BPO to use?
Yes, you can e-mail your templates and the transcribers will use them during transcription.

How does Mukesh BPO assure quality on the transcribed documents?

After the files are transcribed they go to the editor for quality control, proofreading, and formatting. Again all the transcriptions are counterchecked by medical specialists before being sent back to clients. Quality is of utmost importance to us and we do not compromise on it.

Is there a contract necessary for enrolling in the service?
It is not necessary to sign a contract. But if you insist we will be more than happy to execute a contract provided by you.

Is there a minimum volume of dictation that your require?
No, we do not require a minimum volume of dictation.

If I need to retrieve an old file would I be able to do that?

We keep back-up of all files up to 12 months. Please e-mail us the file details and we will send it back to you at NO COST.

How do you count a Line?

Our per line rate is calculated per 65 characters (with spaces), not as a visible line. Consequently, fonts, font sizing and the number of pages do not matter for determining transcription prices. We strictly follow AAMT guidelines and feel this is absolutely fair for our clients.

When and how will I get the invoice?

Billing for our services is conveniently sent out electronically at the beginning of the following month. Invoices are sent by e-mail and include a detailed log count for each dictation transcribed by our transcriptionists the previous month. Payment is accepted by check and wire transfers. Due date for payments is by the 10th of each month.
